Position Information:To provide services and deliverables through performance of support services.
Additional Qualifications:Certifications & Licenses- Ph.D. in a related discipline.
- Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Master's degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.
- Five (5) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor's degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.
- Minimum of six (6) years of related experience
Field of StudySoftware- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and statistical software such as Prism.
Skills- Demonstrates knowledge of working in a laboratory environment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper laboratory disposal methods and safety procedures.
- Professional knowledge of the theories, principles, and methods of scientific specialty
Deliverables:- Work products and documents related to maintaining accurate, daily records of experiments and results in pen in bound laboratory notebooks. - Ad-Hoc

- Work products and documents related to interpreting, evaluating and discussing the results of each experiment with principle investigator. - Ad-Hoc

Statement of Work Details:- Provide specialized scientific support, including participation on the design, planning, conduct, and publication of experiments. - 1
- Identify and adapt novel methods for the study of relevant issues of fungal pathogenesis in close communication with the Principal Investigator - 2
- Maintain accurate, daily records of experiments and results in pen in bound laboratory notebooks. - 3
- Provides technical experience needed to assist in studying the basic principles of plant and animal life.
- Assists with performing basic laboratory experiments and procedures.
- Perform a wide variety of complex procedures and techniques; cell culture, DNA analysis, DNA isolation, DNA purification, DNA sequencing, flow cytometry, gene cloning, manipulation of radioactive isotopes.
- Prepares, organizes and maintains various lab samples, supplies, and equipment.
- Interpret, evaluate, and discuss the results of each experiment with the Principal Investigator as part of the planning process for subsequent studies.
- Review and research the proper handling and methods of utilization for different biological and chemical materials in regular use in the laboratory.
- Learns new laboratory techniques and procedures.
- Prepare various media, stock supplies, and other reagents for use in the laboratory.
- Order and maintain laboratory supplies and equipment including chemicals, biological materials, liquid nitrogen, ETC.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
Salary Range
$105,000-$112,000 USD
