We're looking for a BIM Lead to join our Vancouver office. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing structural BIM models and drawing production and demonstrating conceptual understanding of structural systems and their integration with architectural and mechanical systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide overall guidance to BIM project teams ensuring effective collaboration and delivery.
- Ensure project models and drawings align with all Fast + Epp standards and best practices.
- Confirm goals set out in the project BIM execution plan are met through oversight and support.
- Review drawing sets, models and completed mark-ups to uphold Fast + Epp quality and standards.
- Provide technical support to project teams as required.
- Attend consultant project coordination meetings as required (BIM start-up meetings) and serve as the primary BIM contact for external consultants.
- Ensure Quality Control reviews and model archiving are completed at project milestones and EOR Reviews.
- Participate in workload resourcing, including studio resourcing meetings, planning and allocation of BIM team resources.
- Perform regular model audits and clean-ups to maintain efficient model performance and manageable file sizes.
- Mentor and coach junior BIM staff, supporting their technical growth and professional development.
- Report to the BIM Manager while providing leadership of at least one internal BIM initiative.
- Collaborate with BIM Manager to improve BIM workflows, processes and content for project excellence.
- Promote Fast + Epp's reputation for excellence through involvement in the broader BIM community.
- Step into perform BIM Coordinator or Technician tasks when needed to support project delivery.
- Performs low - medium complexity site reviews (in specific regions).
- Actively contribute to the internal BIM training program by co-authoring and delivering sessions.
- Present regularly at monthly BIM meetings, sharing best practices and supporting team-building through open discussions and collaborative learning.
- Participate in BIM community activities (e.g., webinars, user groups, or shared resources) and bring forward relevant insights that support team growth and reputation.
- Take ownership of QA/QC submissions at predetermined milestones, ensuring timely completion without reminders and supporting Technicians and Coordinators in meeting the same expectation.

What you bring to the table:
- Minimum eight years of relevant Structural BIM experience
- Advanced Revit and BIM Collaboration skills
- Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Technology or related field with relevant work experience
- Participation in external BIM group / community and/or relevant continuing professional development
- Registered member of ASTTBC or equivalent in specific region

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 CAD
