DescriptionHere's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish togetherThe Billing Analyst II is a key part of the TELUS Health Occupational Health team as they are responsible for a variety of duties that generate billing processes and client reporting.
Here's howDuties & responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Interpret data, analyze results using effective and efficient techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and "clean" data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
QualificationsYou're the missing piece of the puzzle- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, and data mining techniques
- Understanding of data confidentiality protocols (Personal Health Information, Personal Information , Privacy Health Information Act) and experience handling high-stakes, sensitive information
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases
- Knowledge of and experience analyzing datasets (Excel, XML, etc)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, formulas, macros, report writing and presenting findings
- Experience working with Cority is an asset
- Experience working with billing and finance teams is an asset
Salary Range: $57,000-$105,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%
