Job Description
Allstate is currently seeking an L&D Senior Consultant II based in Canada (Toronto) to support Global Learning and Development. This role is responsible for facilitating leadership and employee development through engaging and impactful learning experiences aligned with enterprise and business unit strategies. This role emphasizes equipping individuals with the skills needed to drive business outcomes while ensuring programs are customer-centered, efficient, and cost-effective. This role works collaboratively with Business Stakeholders, Project Teams, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in both English and French.

The ideal candidate will be based in or near the Toronto area to facilitate in-person workshops at our Toronto pod, in addition to delivering sessions virtually and traveling within and/or outside of Canada as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver learning offerings through engaging instruction, dynamic facilitation, and effective follow-up coaching
  • Evaluate, maintain, and evolve complex learning solutions to align with enterprise and business needs within an agile framework
  • Collaborate and consult with business partners to understand needs and ensure learning solutions address critical skill gaps
  • Promote talent management practices and support the adoption of a skills-based culture aligned to business-relevant development
  • Measure learning effectiveness, recommend improvements, and provide ongoing support as needed
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for behavioral skills offerings, maintaining a customer centric focus and contributing as lead or team member on projects.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines to support effective coordination of resources, capacity planning, and delivery milestones
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of L&D practices by sharing lessons learned, templates, and best practices


Functional Skills
  • Facilitation & Engagement: Delivers clear, effective learning experiences in both in-person and virtual environments, confidently engaging diverse audiences including global teams and executive leaders through interactive techniques
  • Technology Proficiency: Effectively hosts and facilitates virtual learning using Microsoft Teams and other collaboration platforms to ensure seamless delivery and participant interaction
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Guides learners in applying skills and knowledge to real-world, job-relevant scenarios to reinforce learning transfer
  • Project Management: Demonstrates strong organizational skills to manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously within an agile framework
  • Learning Design & Delivery: Designs, develops, and delivers learning offerings aligned to enterprise and business strategy; integrates consistent talent management practices; and drives adoption of a skills-based culture through intentional learning design and facilitation. Translate learning solutions, content, and other work products as needed


Experience
  • 2 or more years of facilitation experience and 2 years of content development
  • Beginner proficiency using design tools (Rise, Storyline, Synthesia, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Audition)


Travel
  • Traveling is required, up to 50% based on business needs and demand


Language
  • Canadian French Fluency (Required)


Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This job does not have supervisory duties

Compensation
Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 71,400.00 - 113,925.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
