What You'll Do

  • Be able to spend extensive time required on site in Eastern Canada during periods of construction and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with engineering to ensure that testing requirements are included in the design (for example bypass lines, temporary power and water, module isolation valves);
  • Be responsible for the overall Commissioning Team and oversee the recruitment, mobilisation, training, supervision and de-mobilisation of personnel including vendors and technical specialists;
  • Manage interfaces with other project functions and areas in particular the construction and operations managers and their respective teams in conjunction with the Owner's Team Commissioning Manager;
  • Be responsible for the equipment turnover criteria from Construction to Commissioning and system acceptance handover criteria from Commissioning to Operations;
  • Engage with construction for the turnover of subsystem from Construction in order to create a pull effect and drive on schedule delivery. Approves the Construction Verification Certificates
  • Be responsible for administration and continuous improvement of a Completions and Commissioning Management System (CCMS) used by all project personnel; as well as owner managed scope in order to manage completions and handover activities. This includes in particular quality check sheets from construction stage to load commissioning stage, Punch lists and handover certificate;
  • Start-up the plant on feedstock. Bring the plant to a steady-state operation satisfying criteria to initiate ramp-up;
