Responsibilities

  • Manage the national benefits strategy and operations for the 401(k) plan and absence management
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations with multiple stakeholders including recordkeepers and auditors
  • Review compliance risks in plan documents and operational processes
  • Prepare and review materials for compliance and audit support
  • Develop communication strategies to educate team members
  • Manage and coach direct reports
  • Handle additional related duties as assigned

This position is hybrid 3 days per week in our Atlanta, GA office. This position is not eligible for remote work.

The Benefits Manager will empower end-to-end ownership of benefit programs, improve processes, and enhance partnerships and collaboration with internal and external partners. We aim to constantly improve the experience of our Worldpayers, while delivering cost-effective and meaningful benefit programs and services.

What you'll own as the Benefits Manager
  • Manages the development and execution of national benefits strategy and day-to-day operations for the 401(k) plan and absence management programs
  • Coordinates with recordkeepers, TPA's, auditors, legal counsel, payroll and HRIS teams on day-to-day operations and escalations
  • Reviews plan documents, amendments, SPDs, administrative procedures and operational processes for compliance risks
  • Assists with preparation and review of committee materials, compliance reporting, and audit support documentation
  • Develops and executes well planned communication strategies to educate team members
  • Manages and coaches direct reports
  • Other related duties assigned as needed


What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in business or human resources or the equivalent combination of education, training, or 10+ years work experience.
  • Demonstrated influence and partnering skills (with Legal, Procurement, Finance partners, vendor relationships)
  • Oral and written communication skills relating to all management levels, vendors and plan participants
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or integration activities
  • Experience partnering with TPA's, recordkeepers, auditors, actuaries, and legal counsel
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday
