Full Job Description
The Role

GreenLite is seeking an experienced BDR Manager to own and scale our outbound and inbound prospecting strategy, manage a team of BDRs, evolve the playbook, tooling, and metrics for BDR success, and work closely with sales leadership to achieve our pipeline and revenue goals. This is an opportunity to build on an established BDR function at a fast-paced startup and play a key role in evolving our sales culture and processes.

Role Type: In-Person NYC

At GreenLite, we place value in our in-office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as an in-office workplace 4+ days per week to enable balance for our teammates while keeping GreenLite's goals top of mind.

What you'll be doing

On any given day, you can expect to do the following key activities:
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach a team of BDRs to create and qualify new business opportunities for the sales team and train future AEs.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly team objectives; hold the team accountable for hitting key performance metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, opportunities created).
  • Build and optimize outbound sales cadences-including sequences, scripts, email templates, and LinkedIn messaging.
  • Design the BDR playbook around territory, lead routing, and tooling to enhance team efficiency and reporting visibility.
  • Train the BDR team on effective outreach, qualification frameworks (e.g., BANT, MEDDICC), and pipeline management.
  • Lead by example-join calls, review messaging, and coach team members via regular 1:1s and call reviews.
  • Report weekly and monthly on team performance, pipeline contribution, and conversion rates; provide insights to sales, marketing, and RevOps, and develop strategies to increase sales metrics.
  • Ensure data accuracy and CRM hygiene; collaborate with RevOps to streamline reporting processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and camaraderie within the team.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and drive targeted campaigns.
  • Develop onboarding, ramp-up, compensation plans, and career development plans for BDRs.
  • Champion our company values and act as an ambassador of our mission and culture.

How you'll be evaluated

We will define specific goals together for your first 30, 60, and 90 days:
  • 30 Days - Complete onboarding, shadow BDR calls and 1:1s, and get up to speed on our current playbook, tooling, and CRM setup.
  • 60 Days - Own the team's coaching cadence (1:1s, call reviews) and begin identifying opportunities to refine outbound sequences, playbook, and reporting.
  • 90 Days - Be fully accountable for team KPIs (calls, emails, meetings booked, opportunities created), have implemented at least one playbook or process improvement, and take ownership of BDR hiring and performance management.
What we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in a BDR/SDR manager or team-lead role, ideally in a high-growth startup environment; 1-2 years of deal-closing experience preferred.
  • Strong record of coaching sales teams to exceed goals and KPIs.
  • Deep familiarity with CRMs, sales engagement software, and outbound prospecting workflows; familiarity with Sandler Sales methodology a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive process improvement.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building new processes from scratch-a true builder's mentality.
  • Passion for coaching, developing talent, and driving team motivation.
Thrive With GreenLite
  • Competitive Compensation - Generous base salary & access to our Employee Equity Program, so you can grow with us.
  • Performance-Based Annual Bonuses - Rewards for high-impact results and contributions that move the needle.

  • Wellness Support - Monthly Wellness Stipend and full access to Wellhub, Talkspace, & Teladoc for your physical and mental well-being.
  • Weekly Team Lunches - Enjoy catered lunches every week in our NYC office. Great food, better company.

  • Unlimited PTO - Flexible time off so you can recharge, travel, or take care of life as needed.
