Role OverviewOur company builds the most capable small multi-mode radar in its class. In order for customers to experience the full value of the radar we need to establish a team that can help draw full effect from our company's system. We want to build a team of radar-expert sensor operators, and add them to the platforms we already sell.
As the
Director of Customer Operations, you will stand up and lead this new capability line end-to-end. This executive role encompasses driving the overarching growth strategy, partner and capture positioning, and overseeing the specialized operator pipeline. Crucially, you will architect this line so that it protects and strengthens our core radar franchise rather than competing with the partners who carry it.
Position RequirementsRequired:- First and foremost, you are a good fit for the team and will enjoy working with us
- 20+ years of operational experience in the field within the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) domain
- Direct hands-on experience integrating and employing our company's radar systems at the operational level
- Proven track record of standing up and leading a new capability or service line end-to-end, including strategy development, partner/capture positioning, and managing talent/operator pipelines
- Experience developing aerospace and defense-related business opportunities
- Experience developing relationships with customers, OEMs, primes, and integrators
- Experience selling or supporting programs through FMS and DCS
- An understanding about obtaining export licenses through the US State Department
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
- Can clearly communicate requirements and strategy for an opportunity to teammates and leadership
- Are able and willing to travel, upwards of 50%, within the GSA travel requirements
- Have or can obtain a SECRET security clearance
- Have a BS or other advanced degree or equivalent Military service experience and education
Desired:- Locally based near our headquarters in Springville, UT or willing to relocate
- Documented experience related to the operation and use of airborne ISR sensor technology such as EO/IR, SAR/MTI, and EW/Signals intelligence payloads
- Documented experience that directly relates to the operation and use of uncrewed airborne systems (UAS)
- Familiarity with Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) tasking, collection, exploitation, and processing (TCPED) and intelligence support to targeting (F2T2EA) processes
- Comprehensive understanding of Security Cooperation, specifically with regard to FMS, DCS and International Cooperative Agreements
- Familiarity with capture management processes and/or using the Shipley methodology for business development
- Familiarity with Monday CRM, or similar Customer Resource Management tools
- An existing SECRET, or greater, security clearance
