What You'll DoAs the Banquet Senior Sous Chef, you will partner closely with the Executive Chef to oversee all banquet culinary operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and execution.
Responsibilities include:- Lead daily banquet kitchen operations with a focus on luxury service standards.
- Execute high-volume events while maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation.
- Supervise, coach, and develop culinary team members to achieve operational excellence.
- Ensure consistency in recipes, plating, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Assist with menu planning, seasonal offerings, and innovative banquet presentations.
- Manage labor scheduling, inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.
- Collaborate with banquet operations and event teams to ensure flawless execution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused kitchen environment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is an experienced culinary professional who combines creativity with operational discipline and thrives under pressure.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in luxury hotels, resorts, fine dining, or high-end banquet operations.
- Proven success executing large-scale banquet events with precision and consistency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
- Experience managing food and labor costs while maintaining premium quality standards.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
