Title:Banquet Manager

Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000Job Summary: The Banquet Manager is responsible for scheduling and coordinating banquets, parties, and other events, ensuring all arrangements meet high service and quality standards. This role oversees banquet operations, supervises staff, and ensures smooth execution of events to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Essential Functions and Duties: - Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
- Ensure the timely setup of all function rooms according to event specifications.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of banquet supplies, including china, glass, silver, and linen.
- Deliver quarterly inventory reports to the Finance Department.
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to determine future business needs and workload requirements.
- Requisition banquet staff and provide instructions on work expectations in advance of events.
- Meet with function group leaders to discuss last-minute changes and set-up arrangements.
- Ensure proper service to clients during the event and handle any issues that arise.
- Supervise banquet personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Schedule banquets, parties, and other events.
- Assist banquet staff in setting up function rooms when needed.
- Ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of all banquet equipment after events.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills: - 4+ years of experience in banquet or event management, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and train banquet staff.
- Ability to interpret financial information, manage budgets, and prepare inventory reports.
- Knowledge of banquet setups, service standards, and health/safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using event management software and point-of-sale systems.
Work Environment: - Primarily an indoor environment with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- Requires frequent walking and standing for extended periods, with occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Involves reaching, handling, and operating banquet service equipment.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
