Qualifications

• Experience with: Node.JS, JavaScript/TypeScript, NoSQL databases, and building data processes
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or similar) or equivalent practical experience
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals with a focus on data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and improve

Responsibilities

• Solve real-world challenges in the food, consumer products, and personalized nutrition sectors
• Utilize tools and languages including JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and GraphQL
• Collaborate with Research, Nutrition, and Data Analyst teams to understand food data and nutrition use cases
• Envision and develop new features for the core data platform handling large, complex datasets
• Create tools that enhance and support the end-to-end data pipeline
• Model, design, and implement complex data integrations with industry partners
