Responsibilities
Develop backend systems to simulate production environment, user profile, and traffic. Scale distributed applications, tweak technology, and build monitor and alert systems. Execute full software development lifecycle. Build platforms, systems, and services for internal and external teams to interact with the large-scale production systems. Build tools and platforms to improve engineering productivity. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software. Develop underlying infrastructure and technical architecture for all mid-platform and business lines. Mentor junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
Qualifications Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following: Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services; Designing and implementing scalable, fault tolerant, and distributed backend event driven architecture; Working across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of back-end or cloud native projects; Using the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline to automate the service deployment; and Using Unix or Linux operating system. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156000 - $316800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
