Job SummaryThe Senior Backend/Integration Developer provides technical leadership on Client Experience, supporting electronic tracking (eTrack) of applications/lifecycle and electronic documents (eDocs). This role designs integration patterns and API contracts, builds and maintains RESTful APIs and integration services, and integrates backend source systems (Salesforce, Alfresco) with the advisor portal front end. The developer will establish advisor entitlements/access control, lead complex integrations, and provide solution design, code review, and mentorship to intermediate developers within an Agile squad.
Key Responsibilities- Design integration architecture including API contracts and orchestration patterns
- Develop secure RESTful APIs and microservices in Java/Spring Boot (Maven-based, deployed to Azure/AKS)
- Implement entitlements/access control from the ground up
- Perform SQL data mapping and transformation between source systems and front-end API contracts
- Lead complex integrations independently, set technical patterns, and provide mentorship
- Collaborate with architects and delivery leads to align solution direction
- Conduct code reviews and guide intermediate developers

Required Qualifications- 8-10+ years of backend development and integration experience
- Strong expertise in API design, integration architecture, and entitlements/access control
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and cloud deployment (Azure/AKS)
- Proven ability to lead technical delivery, mentor developers, and conduct code reviews
- Experience working in Agile squads with architects and delivery leads
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in financial services or banking domain
- Exposure to document management systems and Salesforce integration
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and secure API governance
Certifications- None required; relevant cloud or architecture certifications (e.g., Azure Architect, TOGAF) preferred
