Job Description
Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Back End Developer to join our team in support of a government customer. This role will lead design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side logic, APIs, and system integration for TSSC applications. This position is contingent upon award.
The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at:
$185,000 - $220,000.
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.
Key duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and RESTful APIs; build/manage databases and optimize queries.
- Integrate with Government authentication systems and security frameworks; implement security controls and compliance.
- Lead code reviews, maintain documentation, coordinate with front-end and data engineering teams, and mentor junior developers.

Job Requirements
- Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility and CI Polygraph
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years in back-end development.
- Back-end languages (Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or Node.js); SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) + NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra); API design (REST, GraphQL); cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) + Docker/Kubernetes; server-side frameworks (Django/Spring/.NET); classified-environment security.
