Full Job Description
Core responsibilities:
Configure and stand up Azure BLOB storage and Kubernetes-based storage architecture
Ensure storage setup matches the client's internal policies/expectations
Act as a knowledgeable "sounding board" when their dev partner (Northeastern University) proposes designs - flag scalability/support concerns, not just take orders
Support/train the internal team on how to maintain what's built
Bridge a short-term knowledge gap
Key skills needed:
Strong Azure experience (Azure SQL Server, Azure Kubernetes a plus)
BLOB storage and HNS (Hierarchical Namespace) file system experience
General application back-end storage experience
Good communication/executive presence - will be on calls with 7-8 people of mixed technical levels
Does NOT need deep AI expertise (the platform is AI-based, but this role is infrastructure-only; architecture/design comes from the Northeastern partner)
