Full Job Description
What You'll Do

Provides support for individual life/disability insurance funded plans throughout presale and ongoing management on a designated block of business. Prepares plan review materials, assists internal collaborators with product and plan development knowledge, and reviews service transactions for compliance with contractual terms and concepts. Conducts research on moderately complex issues and raises higher risk items as needed. Maintains accurate plan records and contributes to efficient case management, documentation quality, and consistent customer experience. Collaborates with senior staff on more comprehensive plan reviews, calculations, and related tasks.

  • Serves as a resource for internal teams on product mechanics, riders, plan structure, and general service considerations. Provides mentorship on routine and moderately complex questions; raises issues requiring specialized expertise. Participates in select external customer discussions when needed.
  • Prepares standard plan review materials, including build summaries, alignment checks, and policy performance updates. Provides required routine reporting (e.g., Economic Benefit Reporting, Summary Annual Reports). Produces standard inforce illustrations and supports pre-sale and post-sale consultation activities.
  • Reviews service transactions to ensure they align with plan structure and parameters. Identifies discrepancies and brings up higher risk or unclear cases according to protocols. Researches contract language, tax references, or regulatory requirements for moderately complex questions with support from senior staff. Completes Business Valuation Increase Rider and Salary Increase Rider procedures.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date plan records using approved systems. Prepares documentation, memos, and summaries supporting plan and policy oversight. Tracks asset distributions and confirm accurate recordkeeping.
  • Participates in training and knowledge-sharing activities. Supports system improvements, product initiatives, or audits as a functional representative. Contributes to special projects under the direction of senior staff or leadership.
Who You Are
  • 4+ years of experience in individual insurance, executive benefits, case management or client services or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Solid working knowledge of individual insurance products, riders, and plan design concepts.
  • Familiarity with planning concepts (Key Person, Bonus, Split Dollar, Deferred Compensation).
  • Ability to research and interpret issues using established guidelines and resources.
  • Strong organization, documentation, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases with accuracy and attention to detail.
Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.   • Seattle, WA / Los Angeles, CA / New York City, NY - $92,400 - $126,000

Time Off ProgramFlexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees dont accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension EligibleYes Additional Information Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid, and remote work options. Hybrid means at least three office days per week. Remote work is available only if you live more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, or Raleigh, NC. You will work with your leader to decide which option fits best.
