Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer
Location: Malvern, PA (onsite day 1 for hybrid model)
Length: 1+ year (likely to be extended multiple years)

Vanguard is moving from Horizon to Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). AVD is a must and a non-starter if they don't have it. They have a framework for the AVD built out but not to scale yet. They need someone with an engineering mind set. This is not a prod support role. They are still building out the environment so need that mindset.

Any experience with Nerdio is a huge plus

Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for Azure Virtual Desktops utilizing automation tool sets.
Provide engineering support in building out our Citrix in AWS infrastructure utilizing automated tool sets.
Implementation of a Published Applications infrastructure utilizing AVD RemoteApps in Azure.

Qualifications

Virtualization experience with AVD, RemoteApps, and Citrix in a Cloud ecosystem. Specifically, Citrix in AWS and AVD in Azure. Nerdio experience is a plus. Must have proven cloud knowledge in the virtualization domain.

Looking for an engineer to build out the infrastructure and not an operations (running the environment) resource.
