This role is crucial for maintaining system compliance and addressing vulnerabilities across Windows and Linux servers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deploy patches across Windows and Linux servers.
- Partner with infrastructure and InfoSec teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain system compliance.
- Utilize SCCM for monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc OS/application patching and deployments via Software Center.
- Troubleshoot Windows patching and update-related issues.
- Perform in-place OS upgrades.
- Work with InfoSec teams to remediate vulnerabilities and missing patches.
- Administer Linux servers and implement patching methodologies.
- Utilize Azure Arc for onboarding on-premises servers for cloud-based patch management.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell.
Qualifications- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM and patch management.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows patching and update-related issues.
- Proficiency in performing in-place OS upgrades.
- Experience in collaborating with InfoSec teams for vulnerability remediation.
- Working knowledge of Linux server administration and patching.
- Experience with Azure Arc and cloud-based patch management.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
