As an Azure SQL Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's Azure SQL databases. You will work closely with our IT team to design, develop, and implement database solutions that meet our business needs. Your role will be critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management systems and supporting our company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL databases for our company
- Collaborate with our IT team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Develop efficient and scalable database structures and queries
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate access controls and backup strategies
- Keep up-to-date with the latest Azure SQL features and technologies and make recommendations for their implementation
- Train and support other team members on database management and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Azure SQL Programmer or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Azure SQL databases and related technologies
- Proficient in SQL programming and query optimization
- Experience with database design and data modeling
- Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
