Information Technology – Remote (U.S. based) 

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an experienced Azure Developer to join its IT team. This position will develop and maintain Azure apps to integrate systems in the enterprise. Self-motivated professionals will: participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle; demonstrate the ability to challenge the status quo; influence others to embrace new technologies and processes; and motivate others toward continual improvement in the performance of the organization.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• 2-3 years of development experience with:

1. Logic and Function Apps
2. Azure API Management
3. Azure Service Bus
4. Key Vault
5. API Connection
6. Azure Integration Services

• Software development language skills in the following areas:

1. C#
2. JavaScript, Typescript
3. HTML, JSON, XML

• Working knowledge of Event Hub and Event Grid, a plus
• Microsoft Azure Developer certification a strong plus
• Working knowledge in the following protocols and styles:

1. HTTP, HTTPS, REST, OData, CORS, SOAP

• Platform skills in the following areas:

1. Microsoft Visual Studio
2. Azure DevOps (Source Control, Work items, Build and Release Management)
3. Microsoft SQL Server
4. Test-Driven development practices

• Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in an enterprise environment considering infrastructure, engineering, support and data administration requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to learn and implement new methods and technologies
• Flexible with ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team
• Technical degree or equivalent job experience
