AWS AI Cloud Engineer
The Opportunity:

As an AWS AI Cloud Engineer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end GenAI solution in a fast, agile environment. If you're looking for the chance to not just develop software, but to create a system that will make a difference, we need you on our team. We're looking for an experienced developer like you with the skills needed to develop software and systems from vision to production ready. The position expects familiarity with cutting-edge GenAI technologies, with a focus on enterprise-scale optimizations and modernizations for an operational system.

This role is more than just coding. As a software engineer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with software, including cloud first development approach
  • 2+ years of experience with Generative AI technologies and LLM deployment
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS or EKS, Amazon Bedrock, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
  • Experience working with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS, and container orchestration
  • Experience with developing and deploying production geospatial applications from concept to Operations and Maintenance (O&M)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation
  • Experience with API management including batching, caching, throttling, and rate limiting
  • Experience with LangGraph or LangChain
  • Experience leading technical initiatives in large-scale environments
  • Experience with system design, including scalability and reliability
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer Certification
  • IAT Level II+ Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
