RE Transaction ManagementThe Transaction Management team sits within GIC Real Estate Business Management function and is responsible for providing transaction closing support for GIC's Real Estate transactions.
What will you do as an AVP, Transaction Management?- Work closely with the Americas Real Estate transaction management team to drive the successful execution of the transaction manager platform across the region.
- Partner the internal investment, finance, tax, and legal teams to execute efficient and timely deal closings.
- Be the main point of contact for internal and external counterparties such as legal counsels, custodians, and KYC/AML agents to receive and process transaction documents and ensure funding on a timely basis.
- Assist the investment team to perform selected deal related internal compliance tasks.
- Be the go-to resource for all process and policy queries, including advising investment teams on approval processes and deal closing requirements and timings.
- Manage deal pipeline and deal execution for deals assigned.
- Support periodic reviews of internal processes to enhance efficiency and / or controls, benchmarking processes to market best practices.
- Proactively consider and implement process improvements, drive technology initiatives to achieve efficiencies and economies of scale.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?- Good Degree in Finance, Business, Legal or related fields with minimum 7 years relevant working experience.
- Ability to forge strong partnerships with investment team and other stakeholders.
- Ability to drive co-ordination and project manage amongst multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities with an eye for details.
- Inquisitive self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time-management and creative problem-solving capabilities is vital in terms of effectively dealing with the complex nature of the deals and tight deadlines.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A good understanding of the commercial, governance and legal terms of real estate deal documents would be advantageous.

Total pay for this position comprises base pay and bonus. The anticipated base salary range for this role is between $130,000 and $170,000. Bonuses, which may form a meaningful proportion of the total pay package, are determined based on company and individual performance.
