Full Job Description
We're looking for a driven Assistant Vice President of Operational Finance to help us strengthen financial performance, drive strategic decision-making, and support our continued growth. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, operational reporting, and financial strategy while partnering closely with executive and operational leaders across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function and oversee operational finance activities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards in accordance with GAAP.
  • Direct the annual budgeting process and collaborate with operational leaders to support strategic initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Manage rolling forecasts and analyze financial performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and operational excellence.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct financial modeling, business analysis, and ad hoc reporting to support executive decision-making.
  • Analyze complex healthcare-related datasets and create meaningful reports that improve business performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and partnership evaluations through financial due diligence and analysis.
  • Identify process improvements and implement enhancements that increase departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support year-end audit activities and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, or operational finance experience
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning is a plus
  • MBA, CPA, and/or CMA preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, communication, and problem-solving skills
