Full Job Description
Otterbein SeniorLife is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Strategy to advance enterprise strategy, growth planning, market and financial analysis, new ministry development, and cross-functional implementation. This senior leadership role partners closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Leadership Team to move complex opportunities from concept to decision and execution.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytical, and collaborative leader who can connect mission, market opportunity, financial reality, operational execution, and long-term sustainability in service of meaningful growth in senior living and healthcare services.
What You'll Do
  • Lead enterprise strategic planning, annual goal development, long-range priorities, and implementation tracking.
  • Develop market, demographic, competitor, payer, consumer, and industry analyses to inform growth and investment decisions.
  • Prepare executive-level business cases, financial models, feasibility analyses, board materials, and recommendations.
  • Support affiliations, acquisitions, campus expansions, service line extensions, and new ministry development.
  • Coordinate project teams, milestones, dashboards, decision points, and accountability structures to advance priorities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field required; CPA, MBA, MHA, MPH, or related graduate degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare, senior living, strategy, finance, operations, business development, market research, or consulting.
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing complex projects, cross-functional teams, professional staff, or enterprise-level initiatives.
  • Strong financial, analytical, communication, facilitation, executive presentation, and decision-support skills; senior living or healthcare strategy experience preferred.
