Full Job Description
The AVP / Executive Director EPMO - Business Analysis Practice Lead is responsible for leading and maturing the enterprise business analysis and requirements management practice. The Business Analysis Practice Lead establishes standards, tools, and methodologies to ensure high-quality requirements definition, traceability, and alignment to business outcomes across the enterprise portfolio. This role provides subject matter expertise in requirements management to ensure business needs are effectively elicited, analyzed, documented, and validated. The Practice Lead reports directly to the SVP, Enterprise Project Management to support governance, intake processes, prioritization, and portfolio performance visibility. Responsibilities include coaching business analysts, ensuring adherence to standards, improving requirements quality, supporting delivery outcomes, and advancing enterprise capabilities in business analysis and process improvement. Defines and implements enterprise requirements management methodologies, standards, and templates. Establishes best practices for requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and traceability; maintains playbooks, templates, and standard operating procedures for business analysis and requirements management; ensures consistent adoption through governance, audits, and quality assessments; and recommends and implements improvements to advance requirements management practices. Supports project intake and initial requirements framing as part of the enterprise intake "front door." Assists in prioritization and planning by ensuring clarity and quality of business needs and scope, applies governance standards to ensure requirements integrity throughout project lifecycles, and supports portfolio structure to ensure alignment between business objectives and project outcomes. Defines and monitors metrics related to requirements quality, completeness, and stability. Supports portfolio health reporting through insights on scope clarity, change trends, and delivery risks; maintains data quality related to requirements artifacts, documentation, and traceability; and communicates insights on requirements-driven risks and impacts to stakeholders. Administers and supports requirements management tools and documentation platforms. Provides guidance on the use of tools such as process mapping, traceability matrices, and backlog management; gathers feedback; and enhances tools, templates, and frameworks. Delivers training on requirements management best practices, tools, and methodologies. Serves as mentor and coach to business analysts and delivery teams and promotes continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and standardization across the analyst community.Conducts quality reviews of requirements and business analysis deliverables. Identifies and escalates risks related to unclear or poorly defined requirements, supports resolution of requirements-related issues in at-risk projects, and drives improvements in requirements quality, stakeholder alignment, and business outcomes.

Bachelor's degree and ten (10) or more years of business analysis, requirements management, or process improvement experience. Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, traceability, and validation techniques. Demonstrated leadership in establishing standards, coaching, and influencing analysis practices. Experience supporting portfolio reporting and governance frameworks. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and project delivery frameworks. Proficiency with business analysis and documentation tools, such as Visio, Excel, and requirements tools.
