Department: Acute Care Pharmacy Operations

Schedule: Full-time

Salary: $222,000.00 - $299,700.00 per year

The expected compensation range for this position is from the minimum to midpoint of the pay grade. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience, education, and organization fit.

This position is eligible for participation in the annual bonus program

How you'll make an impact in this role

Oversees and leads medication infusion services for the organization.

  • Serves as the national subject matter expert on medication infusion services. Participates in the
    development and implementation of strategic goals and objectives, policies, procedures, and budgets.
  • Identifies opportunities to expand, contract, and grow de novo infusion sites of care to drive quality
    and efficiency of revenue integrity.
  • Collaborates with external and inter-department stakeholders and ensures the development, programming
    implementation and system technology integration for patient-focused services.
  • Ensures compliance with all state and federal requirements including Joint Commission, United State
    Pharmacopeia (USP), Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC ), and other accreditation bodies.
  • Provides medication infusion services recommendations to other teams in order to optimize electronic
    health records, charge master, automation, smart pumps etc.


Complexity of Work:

  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal
    upervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Required Credential(s):
    • Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required


Work Experience:

  • 7 years of experience required.
  • 5 years of cumulative leadership or management experience required.
  • Pharmacy Residency preferred.

    • Partner with market pharmacy leaders, hospital presidents, CEOs, and other senior executives.
    • Build trust and alignment across a complex, decentralized organization.
  • Develop pharmacy leadership and talent
    • Support leadership development, professional development, and succession planning.
    • Build relationships with pharmacy leaders and promote a strong national pharmacy community.
  • Navigate regulatory, clinical, operational, and strategic issues
    • Provide executive-level oversight related to pharmacy policy, regulatory compliance, controlled substances, technology, medication safety, and operational standards.
