AVIATION MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bell 429 aviation maintenance administrator to join our aviation maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing the Bell 429 helicopter. This role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring all aircraft meet the highest safety and airworthiness standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bell 429 helicopters in accordance with manufacturer manuals, FAA regulations, and company procedures.
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements on airframe, powerplant, and avionics systems specific to the Bell 429.
  • Use Bell 429 maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and service bulletins to complete work accurately.
  • Perform daily, pre-flight, and post-flight inspections.
  • Document all maintenance actions in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA Part 43, Part 91, or Part 135 as applicable).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the hangar and on the flight line.
  • Collaborate with pilots, other mechanics, and management to ensure aircraft availability and operational readiness.
  • Assist with inventory management of parts and tools specific to the Bell 429.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 3+ years helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Bell 429 systems, including Pratt & Whitney PW207D engines, rotor systems, and avionics.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 1+ years of specific experience maintaining the Bell 429 helicopter.
  • Bell 429 factory training or Bell Helicopter authorized training.
  • Experience with other Bell models (407, 412, 505, etc.).
  • Experience working in a Part 135 or Part 145 environment.
  • Experience with Garmin or Honeywell avionics systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient with maintenance tracking software and computer-based documentation.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
