Job Description:
Overview

We are seeking an experienced AV Programmer/Senior Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of complex audiovisual systems across an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, project managers and end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and test control system programming (AMX, Extron, Crestron) in multi-classification environments.
  • Upgrade operating systems and support the design of system enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for new and existing AV systems.
  • Create, implement, and test DSP configurations (BSS, Biamp, Extron).
  • Configure AV devices, including enterprise-level network and security settings.
  • Conduct system testing to ensure solutions meet user and performance requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex AV system and control program issues.
  • Provide specialized technical training and end-user support.
  • Contribute to special projects and cross-functional engineering initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of emerging AV, control, and network technologies.
  • Coordinate with and maintain relationships with vendor support teams for major system components
  • Act as a technical team or task lead, providing guidance and work leadership to less experienced audio-visual team members.


Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of AV programming experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Top Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one).
  • Experience developing AV system flow diagrams and placing devices in AutoCAD.
  • Experience with enterprise IPTV, videoconferencing solutions, complex presentation/briefing systems, and knowledge wall technologies.
  • Familiarity with AV and broadcast vendors such as Evertz, Haivision, DirecTV, Technicolor, Cisco, AMX, Extron, and Crestron.


The likely salary range for this position is $187,179 - $215,050. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
