A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is created to support "future-proofing" the supply chain for Siemens Energy's Gas Turbine (GT) auxiliary systems and other GT components. As a Senior Professional Engineer, the position will provide critical technical expertise to mitigate supply chain risks through early procurement involvement and the development of alternative component sources. The potential structure would be working in a small team with one serving as a lead for the overall tasks. This structure ensures that technical solutions are commercially and technically viable and directly support supply chain resilience. Given the focus on technical specification and risk mitigation, the ideal candidate will possess knowledge of GT auxiliary systems and the engineering design process. A strong background in risk assessment, creating procurement specifications, and experience working independently on complex projects is essential for success in this position.
