Position Summary
Modern Genesis of Lake Norman has an immediate opening for an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. What You'll Do
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance efficiently and accurately
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, drivability, and HVAC systems
• Perform maintenance services including flushes, oil changes, and inspections
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and state-of-the-art shop equipment
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and parts department
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service needs
• Road test vehicles to confirm repairs and quality standards
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training
Requirements
• Minimum 3-5 years of Automotive Technician experience preferred
• Dealership experience strongly preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with diagnostic equipment, alignments, tire equipment, and shop tools
• Ability to road test vehicles and confirm repairs
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour + bonus opportunities
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Day shift
• No nights
• Weekends as needed
