Job Description:
Automotive Parts DirectorJob Description - Provide leadership and strategic direction for parts departments across multiple dealership locations.
- Develop and implement regional parts sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including gross profit, inventory turns, obsolescence, fill rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure proper inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize obsolete inventory.
- Lead recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management of Parts Managers and department personnel.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Analyze financial statements and operational reports to identify opportunities for increased profitability and efficiency.
- Establish best practices and standardized operating procedures across all locations.
- Collaborate with Service, Sales, and Fixed Operations leadership to improve overall dealership performance.
- Conduct regular dealership visits to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Implement loss prevention and inventory control measures.
- Oversee parts purchasing strategies and vendor negotiations.
- Support new dealership acquisitions, transitions, and operational integrations as required.

Job Requirements:
