Role: Automation Tester - Selenium

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium automation testing, SQL validation, and quality assurance methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience testing large-scale web-based applications, developing automation frameworks, and working within Agile environments to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web-based applications
- Develop and maintain Selenium automation frameworks and reusable test scripts
- Validate application functionality and data integrity using SQL queries
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and testing needs
- Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Test Strategy documents
- Execute test cases and document test results, defects, and resolutions
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Utilize Team Foundation Server (TFS) for work item management, test case management, and reporting
- Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution activities
- Ensure software quality standards are met throughout the development lifecycle
Required Skills:- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing or related field
- Strong experience testing large, complex web-based applications in a structured QA environment
- Extensive hands-on experience with Selenium test automation
- Strong Selenium script development experience
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong experience writing and executing complex SQL queries for data validation and testing
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) for Work Item Management, Test Cases, and Reporting
- Experience preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Strategy documentation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:- Experience with automation framework design and maintenance
- Experience with test reporting and defect management tools
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA best practices
- Experience working on enterprise-level applications
