Full Job Description
Automation Engineer II supporting the External Projects Team at our Manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. Specifics include:

  • Drive implementation of the latest technological advancements in manufacturing processes such as integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) systems, cobots, autonomous mobile robots (AMR), fully automated end-of-line packaging systems (case erecting, packing, sealing, and robotic palletizing), and automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
  • Optimize continuous improvement initiatives by utilizing basic Lean Six Sigma Tools in areas of safety, quality, throughput improvement, line balancing, engineering problems and cost reductions.
  • Provide production support through PLC program troubleshooting (Allen Bradley and Siemens), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP).
  • Handle complex tasks related to the design, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of instrument/electrical and automation control systems.
  • Manage the allotted committed capital funding to each assigned project from development, implementation, and go-live support.
  • Make significant decisions within your project area, influencing project outcomes.
  • Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.
  • Responsible for meeting their individual project job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
