BT-354 - Test EngineerLocation: Chantilly, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)
**Please do NOT apply if you do not have an active Poly clearance. Those without a Poly will not be considered.**Required Experience- Demonstrated experience with Selenium and Playwright for automated software testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and test frameworks.
- Strong programming experience in one or more of the following:
- C/C++
- Visual Basic
- .NET (including Microsoft Office and Web Office development)
- Java
- Python
- JavaScript
- Experience with web application development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience maintaining and developing applications in Lotus Notes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management- Serve as a key support resource for the Sponsor's program objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project status, task management, scheduling, risk management, coordination, and issue resolution.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of both programmatic and technical information to project teams and the Sponsor.
- Prepare and support program management reviews, including executive-level reports and briefings, under Sponsor guidance.
- Coordinate meetings, document meeting minutes and action items, and track action items through completion.
- Prepare documentation for Sponsor approval, including cost estimates, reporting requests, and other program-related deliverables.
Software Development- Design, develop, and maintain classification tools using:
- C/C++
- Visual Basic
- .NET technologies for Microsoft Office and web applications
- Java and/or Python
- JavaScript
- Develop web-based applications and user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
- Maintain and enhance existing Lotus Notes applications and develop new classification tools as required.
Test Automation & Quality Assurance- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.
- Perform software compatibility testing across applications, hardware platforms, and operating systems.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and automated testing solutions covering:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Negative testing
- Database impact testing
- Software scenario testing
- Bug verification and retesting
- Usability testing
- Identify, document, and help resolve software defects to ensure high-quality application performance.
