Under minimal supervision, you will work on all phases of the audit process including consultative projects. You will provide consultative guidance to the department demonstrating technical proficiency in one or more domain(s) as assigned. You will perform complex assignments within the context of audit engagements including the following: identify and evaluate risk, develop audit programs, execute complex audit program steps, identify and communicate issues, provide recommendations for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness, and provide written and oral feedback relative to the engagement. Work with Management in developing action plans to ensure identified risks are effectively mitigated.
What you do:- Review business processes and Draft audit programs to effectively test the design and operational effectiveness of the system of internal controls.
- Perform complex audit activities, as assigned.
- Identify and communicate issues and provide recommendations for improvements of the internal control environment.
- Collaborate with management on the development of action plans to ensure risks are mitigated appropriately and follow-up to completion.
- Serve as key contact between the business and internal audit and develop executive presence.
- Act as business technical advisor to audit team members.
- Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
What you bring:- 6 or more years experience required: Professional experience working in a corporate setting; Minimum 2-3 years of Audit or insurance industry related experience required
- Four-year degree required or equivalent work experience
- You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
Job posting range: $82,000 - $124,000
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. This role is also eligible for a variable compensation program. The actual variable compensation earned is driven by assigned territory and individual sales performance.
