As part of the firm's recent expansion into North Carolina, the
Kaufman & CanolesRaleigh office is seeking qualified attorneys. While open to candidates across practice areas, the firm is specifically looking to build out existing services in the areas of healthcare, labor/employment, ESOPs & employee benefits, defense contracting, public finance, bankruptcy, and commercial real estate. The successful candidate will have 6 or more years of relevant experience, demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Required Skills:
- Six or more years relevant job experience in the legal field is preferred.
- Skilled at meeting deadlines under significant time pressure
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client orientation
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently
Education:
- Juris Doctorate degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association with an outstanding academic record
- Admission to the North Carolina Bar in good standing or the ability to waive in
- During employment, must meet requirement for continuing licensure for law practice; some opportunities for obtaining in-house CLE through Kaufman & Canoles will be available
