Full Job Description
DESCRIPTION

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an attorney who enjoys developing people, improving legal operations, and helping a growing practice succeed. You will work closely with firm leadership and our attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across our Nashville and Atlanta offices.

The role combines legal leadership, team development, and practice operations. We do not expect one person to do everything, we are looking for someone with strong judgment who can support the team, identify opportunities for improvement, and help the firm operate effectively as it grows.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support attorneys and legal staff with case strategy, prioritization, and complex immigration matters.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop attorneys and paralegals.
  • Oversee case workflows, caseloads, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve systems, processes, and accountability.
  • Promote strong communication, collaboration, and client service across the firm.
  • Work with firm leadership on operational priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Use case and performance information to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Help develop scalable systems that support firm growth without compromising legal quality or client care.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

We are looking for an experienced attorney who combines strong immigration knowledge with leadership, sound judgment, and good people skills.

Ideally, you will have:
  • A J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • An active law license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Strong experience practicing U.S. immigration law.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, or developing attorneys or legal staff.
  • Good knowledge of immigration case management and legal workflows.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • A practical, collaborative, and client-centered approach to leadership.

Experience managing a law firm, practice group, legal department, or legal team is highly valued, but you do not need to have held the title of Practice Manager. We welcome applications from senior immigration attorneys, supervising or managing attorneys, experienced solo practitioners, and immigration attorneys who have developed strong team leadership or operational experience. We value demonstrated leadership, judgment, and impact more than a particular job title.

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

This role welcomes attorneys across the U.S. It offers a hybrid or completely remote working arrangement, depending on the Attorney's location.

COMPENSATION & EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Salary: $140,000+ annually, depending on experience, leadership background, and the value you can bring to the firm's continued growth.

Following successful completion of a three-month probationary period, eligible employees receive:
  • Retirement savings plan with employer match
  • Medical insurance with company-subsidized premiums
  • 20 days paid time off, increasing with length of employment
  • 10 days paid sick leave
  • Paid federal holidays
  • Annual end-of-year office closure
  • Annual bonus opportunity
  • Sign-on bonus for designated shortage areas within the firm
  • Travel allowance for eligible work-related trips, plus approved business travel expenses
  • Staff awards and recognition program
  • In-office coffee, tea, and snacks
  • Catered birthday lunches and work anniversary recognition

If you are an experienced immigration attorney who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and building stronger legal teams, we would like to hear from you.
