Hall & Evans, LLC, is looking for an experienced litigation attorney with medical malpractice experience to join our Las Vegas office. Upon successful completion of training, this position may allow for a Hybrid Working Schedule, with three days spent in the office and two days working remotely from home.
Requirements
- Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada, required;
- Medical Malpractice Litigation experience, preferred;
- A strong work ethic and proven case management skills;
- Excellent communication and analytical skills;
- Exceptional research and writing skills;
- Ability to travel;
- Competent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook;
- Interviewing and meeting with client representatives;
- Direct experience/interaction with insurance claims representatives, including reporting, case assessment, evaluation, and strategy;
- Responsibility for handling own files/matters preferred;
- Taking and defending fact and expert depositions;
- Expert engagement and preparation, expert disclosures and reporting;
- Experience with all facets of pre-trial discovery and preparation;
- Experience with all facets of pre-trial motions;
- Experience with large document production and database matters;
- First chair mediation experience, preferred;
- Management and delegation of work to paralegals;
- First chair trial/arbitration experience, preferred;
- Schedule and payment claim experience, preferred;
- Marketing and business development interest, and;
- Experience in drafting publications, articles, or legal presentations, preferred.
