Personal Injury Attorney Description Avagyan Law Firm is seeking a motivated and results-driven Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to take ownership of cases, advocate directly for clients, and grow with an expanding law firm. The ideal candidate is confident, organized, an effective negotiator, and committed to achieving strong results for clients. Responsibilities • Supervise the pre-litigation team, providing legal guidance on case strategy, liability, damages, treatment, and case valuation. • Oversee pre-litigation case progression and ensure case managers are effectively moving matters toward resolution. • Review and approve settlement demands and provide guidance on negotiations and settlement strategy. • Evaluate cases for litigation and oversee the transition from pre-litigation to litigation when appropriate. • Personally manage litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation. • Develop litigation strategy and negotiate settlements to maximize client recovery. • Mentor and support case managers and legal staff while maintaining high standards for case quality, efficiency, and client service. Qualifications • Active California Bar membership in good standing. • 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience strongly preferred. • Bilingual proficiency in Armenian and/or Russian is highly preferred. • Proven experience handling plaintiff personal injury cases through pre-litigation and litigation. • Strong understanding of case valuation, liability, damages, medical treatment, insurance coverage, and settlement strategy. • Demonstrated ability to supervise and provide strategic guidance to pre-litigation case managers and support staff. • Strong litigation experience, including discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and court appearances. • Excellent negotiation, legal writing, client communication, and case-management skills with a results-driven approach.
