Job Summary

Jefferson Capital Systems, LLC is growing our legal team and we're currently hiring for attorney opportunities:
  • Arizona-licensed Attorney- Full-Time (Remote)
  • California-licensed Attorney- Full- Time (Remote)
  • Florida-licensed Attorney-Full Time (Remote)
  • Georgia-licensed Attorney-Full Time (Remote)
  • Michigan-licensed Attorney-Full Time (Remote)
  • New Jersey-licensed Attorney-Full Time (Remote)

This is not your traditional law firm setting. You'll be part of a collaborative legal process involving legal assistants, support teams, and multiple stakeholders, all working together to ensure responsible litigation and regulatory compliance in consumer collections. Theseare remote positions for attorneys licensed and in good standing in their respective states, with regular travel to nearby courts required. We're looking for candidates with courtroom experience, motion practice experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Our attorneys play an important role in managing consumer collection litigation, handling matters from initial filings through post-judgment enforcement, appearing in hearings and trials, negotiating settlements, and helping ensure compliance with state and federal consumer protection requirements.

What does a typical day look like?
