Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Planned Projects Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you will assist the Planned Projects Project Manager with planning, managing, installing, and closing-out chartered Unmanned Systems (UxS) and Counter Unmanned System (C-UxS) projects. As the Planned Projects Coordinator, you will track chartered projects across the project's lifecycle from initiation through close-out and acceptance by end-user customers. A qualified Planned Projects Coordinator must have the ability to perform independent work, troubleshoot urgent technical issues, coordinate with geographically separated teams, and assist in the execution of project plans. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring system installation, OSHA safety protocols, risk assessment, schedule coordination, stakeholder management, management of assets and Work Orders via the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and execution, management, and piloting Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in accordance with 14 CFR Part 107 and 2 FAM 817.3.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Monitors the execution of C-UAS and UxS sections' chartered projects, to include Charter, Survey, Design, Procurement, Shipping/Logistics, Installation, Validation, and Close-out.
  • Drafts project documentation and certification for appropriate U.S. government officials.
  • Submits project deliverables to appropriate U.S. government officials in accordance with the project charter.
  • Coordinate chartered project survey plans, design timelines, installation plans, operational verification, and close-out documentation in accordance with the applicable FAM/FAH and the project charter.
  • Ensures the proper documentation of all health, safety, and environmental policies and training in accordance with the Parsons Safety Program.
  • Works with the Planned Projects Project Manager and pillar leads to capture project budgets, schedules, and plans for annual budgets, spend plans, and planned projects in support of international or domestic operations.
  • Monitors and reports on the progress of planned projects within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost, schedule, or performance.
  • Review, compile, and submit Weekly Activity Report (WAR) for Chartered Projects to the Mission Support Section Lead for review.
  • Establish, maintain, and update a Chartered Projects tracker that can be easily accessed by senior managers and provide near real-time project status and information.
  • Ensure all project documentation is titled in accordance with ATI titling guidelines and uploaded to the appropriate Planned project's location in Teams and SharePoint.
  • Ensure all project execution tasks are properly documented as a Work Order (WO) in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as part of project execution, validation, and close-out.
  • Assist in providing a daily personnel report to Core Office and OSIS II Program Office; provide any updates of personnel absences, illness, injuries, or other events that could result in a loss of work.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of C-UxS and UxS technical processes, functions and requirements.
  • Utilize knowledge of supply chain processes, governing policies, manuals, and instructions for implementation for program milestones.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate and/or directed by the Core Office or Government Technical Monitor (GTM).


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field of study/program and typically 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Five or more years combined results-oriented experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Familiarity with UAS, C-UAS, radar systems, or RF analytics.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to complete required reporting, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with MS Project a plus
  • Experience with Unanet, CMMS, SharePoint, ILMS familiarity a plus
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification (required)
  • Secret clearance required


Licenses and Certifications
  • PMP Certification or equivalent experience (desired)


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
