About the job you're considering:
We are seeking experienced ATE Test Development Engineers to support mixed-signal IC validation and production test development initiatives. This role will focus on advanced ATE solutions using the Cohu DxV platform, with contributions across multiple programs.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mixed-signal semiconductor testing, deep hands-on experience with Cohu DxV, and the ability to operate across both modern and legacy test systems
Your Role:
Develop, debug, and optimize ATE test programs for mixed-signal ICs
• Lead test development on Cohu DxV platform (primary "workhorse" ATE system)
• Support validation and production test
• Collaborate with design, validation, and product engineering teams to ensure test coverage and quality
• Perform characterization, correlation, and yield improvement activities
• Support test migration and coexistence between legacy and modern ATE systems
• Develop documentation for test methods, hardware interfaces, and program flows
Your Skills and Experience:
• Experience with Credence D10 (legacy ATE systems)
• Ability to work across multiple test platforms and legacy environments
• Background in medical devices or implantable electronics (strong plus)
• Experience with test method migration from legacy to modern ATE systems
• 4+ years of experience in ATE test development (mixed-signal focus)
• Proven expertise in Cohu DxV platform (must-have)
• Configuring and using analog and digital instrument resources
• Handling precision measurements (ADC/DAC validation, voltage/current accuracy)
• Synchronizing digital pattern generation with analog measurements
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $53,580 - $122,400
