Capgemini Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Lead Developer to provide expert solution development, maintenance, and modernization services within a fully staffed, cross-functional Agile Scrum team. This role will lead the technical delivery, configuration, and custom development of a diverse portfolio of applications, ensuring code quality, security compliance, and operational excellence across multiple business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle APEX application design, development, and modernization efforts.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance across the team.
• Ensure sprint commitments and project deliverables are met.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce secure coding standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices.
• Oversee application documentation and operational procedures.
• Provide Tier 2/3 production support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Eligible to acquire and maintain Government Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of software development and technical leadership experience.
• Strong expertise with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database 12c+.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Azure Cloud experience.
• Familiarity with IBM InfoSphere.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and application modernization.
• Government contracting or regulated industry experience preferred.
