We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the Not for Profit team in our Hartford office.

This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Not-for-Profit Group. The Not-for-Profit Group provides services to social service and charitable agencies, professional and trade associations, foundations, educational institutions, arts and cultural organizations, and religious organizations. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
  • Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules. Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
  • Develop a professional relationship with the client. Gain the respect and confidence of the client by consistently demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
  • Serve as the prime point-of-contact to the client. Ensure that the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
  • Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise team direction.
  • Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.


YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:
  • 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
  • Bachelor's Degree and active CPA required
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
  • Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

In Connecticut, the salary range for a Assurance Manager is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
