We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join the National Professional Standards Group's Curriculum Team as a manager of assurance curriculum content development. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning and development, has a strong understanding of the auditing profession, and is committed to creating high-quality educational content. The manager will be responsible for identifying training opportunities based off needs from the field, inspection results, and emerging industry and regulatory trends, and work with technical audit and accounting leaders to bring engaging and informative learning experiences to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit, training content development and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with subject matter experts, audit leaders, and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop tailored curriculum solutions.
- Collaborate with RSM's inspection programs to identify learning needs, and integrate inspection themes throughout learning curricula.
- Design and develop engaging and effective learning materials, including courses, workshops, and resources, that are aligned with industry standards, firm policies, and best practices.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of curriculum content, ensuring it is relevant, up-to-date, and meets the needs of auditors at various levels of experience.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training content, using feedback and data to make continuous improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate new ideas and approaches into the curriculum strategy.
- Oversee other curriculum developers as necessary, typically rotators, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing and learning and development, with a focus on curriculum development.
- Strong understanding of the auditing profession and standards, and the unique learning needs of auditors.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering effective curriculum content and initiatives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
Location: This position can be based anywhere in the US, although cities with an RSM office are preferred.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $89,800 - $170,500
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
