About the Role / Position Summary

The Associate Vice President, Fund Operations is accountable for managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of FEG Curio Investment Partners, supporting both Public Markets (FEG Managed Portfolios) and Private Markets (Curio Select). This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Operations of FEG Curio Investment Partners and plays a key role in shaping and supporting the strategic direction of the business.

What You'll Do / Position Responsibilities

Team Management
  • Communicate regularly and cascade leadership information, especially when relevant and impactful to the team.
  • Drive department initiatives through self-goals and employees' goals.
  • Support and provide guidance to each employee in their key day-to-day activities.
  • Develop and train each employee who reports to you and ensure they clearly understand what is expected of them.
  • Identify and be proactive on any employee relations issues by partnering with Human Resources on any challenges you face.


Curio Select - Private Markets Operations
  • Supervise operational personnel.
  • Lead vendor oversight (Fund Administrators, Tax Partners, Audit Partners).
  • Manage investor subscriptions, AML/KYC, underlying fund subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and financial statement oversight.
  • Oversee client portal development and data management.

FEG Managed Portfolios - Public Markets Operations
  • Lead vendor oversight supporting Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and verification.
  • Oversee portfolio accounting functions.
  • Manage portfolio model updates and rebalancing.
  • Oversee composite updating and review.
  • Manage DDQ/RFI data and review marketing collateral.

Risk & Workflow Management
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to address operational risk.
  • Implement workflows and controls to ensure operational quality.

Cross-Functional & Client Partnership
  • Serve as operational lead for client relationships and escalations.
  • Collaborate with key resources across FEG such as Legal and Compliance.

What We Expect / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field. For certain positions, we accept a high school diploma, GED, or National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
  • 7+ years of work experience in alternative fund operations with oversight experience in public market trading and portfolio account systems.
  • Exemplary knowledge of alternative fund operations, both evergreen and drawdown structures.
  • Experience in public market trading and portfolio account systems.
  • Ability to identify and resolve/escalate complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint with strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and high work ethic.
