integrative and holistic care, creating a truly comprehensive approach to patient wellness.
Our team provides care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, and other exotic companion animals, giving veterinarians the opportunity to build a diverse and rewarding caseload while developing their individual areas of interest.
Whether your passion is general practice, surgery, preventative medicine, senior care, rehabilitation, acupuncture, exotic animal medicine, or integrative medicine, we welcome veterinarians who want to practice thoughtful, individualized medicine.
What You'll DoAs an Associate Veterinarian, you will:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to a diverse patient population
- Perform comprehensive wellness and sick-patient examinations
- Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans
- Perform routine surgical and dental procedures based on your experience and interests
- Utilize in-house diagnostics to support timely medical decision-making
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment options
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Participate in the care of canine, feline, avian, and exotic patients according to your comfort level and interests
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and their pets
- Continue developing your clinical skills through mentorship, continuing education, and professional development
What We're Looking For- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Virginia veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Ability to obtain a DEA license, as applicable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, patient-centered approach to veterinary medicine
- Commitment to high-quality medicine and excellent client service
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a veterinary team
- New graduates and experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply

Continuing Education: Full-time Associate Veterinarians receive a $2,500 annual CE allowance plus 3 CE days. Part-time Associate Veterinarians receive a $1,500 annual CE allowance.
