The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to support underwriters by liaising with brokers to resolve outstanding subjectivities, billing issues, and policy reviews, ensuring timely processing and coordination between all parties involved. This role requires an individual who will work closely with global underwriting teams, demonstrating strong process knowledge and judgment in gathering and communicating pertinent information effectively.

  • Location: New York City, NY
  • Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 2-3 days per week
  • The salary range for this role is between $69,000-$104,000.


Your New Role:
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers through phone and email.
  • Coordinate with underwriting areas to manage reports needed in the underwriting process.
  • Provide recommendations for business improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.
  • Resolve escalated complaints promptly.
  • Monitor pending items from brokers and clients for existing policies.
  • Assist with new submission reviews and underwriting model completion.
  • Focus on accuracy and adhere to state regulatory requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.


Preferred Competencies:
  • Some relevant experience.


Compensation Package: The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.
