We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Shared Services & Banking Operations to support the delivery of a new Corporate Deposits capability through transaction monitoring, payment processing, exception management, and operational risk control activities within a growing banking operations environment.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships.
This is an Associate level position at the P3 level within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.
What you'll do in the role:
- Execute complex processes and assist a Team Manager in coordinating processes, risks and/or projects in a Team Lead capacity
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and leverage detailed knowledge to propose changes in process
- Train others, allocate tasks and support with first line escalation where required
- Share expert knowledge across the team, contribute to team output and development, building relationships across the Firm
- Perform transaction monitoring, payment processing, investigations, and exception management activities supporting the Corporate Deposits product.
- Investigate client-impacting payment issues, support call back verification and sanctions/fraud reviews, and maintain accurate operational documentation and control evidence.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
- Ability to operate independently with respect to some job responsibilities

- Experience in banking operations, payment operations, deposit operations, transaction processing, cash management, or client servicing within a financial services environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, investigate operational issues, follow established controls and escalation procedures, and work effectively across Operations, Product Servicing, Treasury, Financial Crimes, and Technology teams.
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Salary range for the position: $64,000.00 - $107,500.00/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
