Position Overview

As an Associate Sales Representative (ASR) at Hologic on the Breast Surgery team, you will play an essential role in supporting quota achievement and driving territory growth for our Women's Health Breast Surgery and Localization portfolio. Working closely with the Territory Manager, you will assist in developing and executing business plans that maximize market share and revenue growth. You will leverage clinical expertise, customer focus, and strategic selling skills to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and create needs using the company's unique value proposition.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, are eager to learn, and are passionate about making a difference in women's health through innovative medical device solutions.

What You Will Do:

Sales Support & Promotion
  • Assist Territory Managers in driving growth across the product portfolio.
  • Help develop and implement selling strategies and business plans to achieve/exceed quota and maximize market share within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, evaluations, and case coverage to showcase the value and functionality of solutions in clinical and office settings.
  • Present the company's value proposition to multiple stakeholders at all levels, including physicians, surgeons, radiologists, and hospital decision-makers.

Customer Engagement & Education
  • Build trusted advisor-level relationships with key customer contacts and decision-makers, uncovering and creating needs at the account level.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the proper use, features, and benefits of products through in-services, Operating Room (OR) based case coverage, and office calls to drive account independence.
  • Attend and participate in Medication Education programs, Journal Clubs, Residency programs, and other relevant events to strengthen customer relationships.

Territory Management
  • Share market feedback relative to the competitive landscape, customer trends, and product performance with the sales team.
  • Track sales funnel activity, analyze trends, and provide accurate forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Partner with internal teams across Clinical, Sales, Service, Technology, and National Accounts to optimize customer experience.

Professional Development
  • Participate in all corporate training programs, sales meetings, conventions, and in-field development opportunities.
  • Continuously expand product and industry knowledge to stay ahead in a competitive market.
  • Seek mentorship and feedback to grow into a fully independent sales role.

Physical & Travel Requirements:
  • Travel: Required travel throughout your territory, approximately 50-75%. Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Medium work: Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • Coordination of eye, hand, and foot movement for product handling and demonstrations.
  • Ability to meet cognitive demands, including visual and auditory discrimination, reading ability, and memory retention.

Additional Detail:

The total compensation range for this role is $80,000- $100,000. This is based on a base salary and commission plan combination. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus quota.
